11-12s Set National Age Group Record in Mixed 400 Medley Relay

Swimming at the IE VS Apple Capital Open SMAC’s 11-12 mixed 400 medley relay established a new National Age Group record.

Shaw Nishizawa (12), Ben Scott (12), Ella Jablonski (12), and Moira Williams (12) combined for a 4:49.55 taking nearly six seconds off the benchmark time. Mixed relays have only been recognized for National Age Group records since September 2018 and this is the first time the benchmark has been eclipsed. The relay was led off by Nishizawa with a 1:15.80, followed by Scott in 1:23.45, Jablonski in 1:06.15, and anchored by Williams in 1:04.15.
