Congratulations to all Seattle Metropolitan swimmers on becoming Age Group Regional Champions. Over the course of 4-days, Seattle swimmers battled approximately 126 teams from 5 states for the coveted Age Group Regional Championship title.  SMAC walked away victorious, winning the meet with a combined 1085.5 points (447.5 points ahead of 2nd place).  In addition to winning the combined team title, they also walked away with first place finishes on the women’s & men’s division. Another successful SMAC meet! Our fourth team hosted meet this season! We put on this one-day meet in effort to give our athletes one more opportunity to qualify for Senior Sectionals and Regionals, and the swimmers did just that! 17 new AGR cuts achieved in a quick 90 minute meet! TYR Pro Series Nathan Hayes, Tyler Lu, and Vlad Elizarov travelled to Knoxville, Tennessee representing Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club for the TYR Pro Series Swim Meet. Congratulations to Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club on being awarded Silver Medal status for USA Swimming's Club Excellence program! We are ranked among the top 100 clubs in the country! Now in its 18th year, the Club Excellence program identifies clubs that execute strong, well-rounded programs to produce elite 18-and-under athletes. Congratulations to all Seattle Metropolitan swimmers on a 2nd place combined finish and a 1st place Men’s finish at Washington State Senior Championships! Over the course of four days, 134 SMAC swimmers competed at KCAC with some of the best swimmers in the state of Washington.
