TYR Pro Series Nathan Hayes, Tyler Lu, and Vlad Elizarov travelled to Knoxville, Tennessee representing Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club for the TYR Pro Series Swim Meet. Congratulations to Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club on being awarded Silver Medal status for USA Swimming's Club Excellence program! We are ranked among the top 100 clubs in the country! Now in its 18th year, the Club Excellence program identifies clubs that execute strong, well-rounded programs to produce elite 18-and-under athletes. The top-20 clubs earn gold level ranking and those rated 21-100 are designated as silver honorees. The next 100 clubs are recognized at the bronze level. Congratulations to all Seattle Metropolitan swimmers on a 2nd place combined finish and a 1st place Men’s finish at Washington State Senior Championships! Over the course of four days, 134 SMAC swimmers competed at KCAC with some of the best swimmers in the state of Washington. Seattle Metropolitan Women scored 843 points to finish the meet in second place, while the Men scored 795.5 points to win the Men’s division. Congratulations to all Seattle Metropolitan swimmers on becoming 14&U PNS Short Course Champions! Over the course of three days, SMAC swimmers spent their weekend at KCAC competing for the 14&U PNS Short Course Championship trophy. Not only did they win with a combined team score of 3,825.5 points – but they also walked away with first place finishes in the women’s & men’s divisions.
